The council revealing the new defibrilator

KPC are delighted to have supported Kippax North Connections (PTA) along with school families and the local communities in their efforts to raise funds for a community defibrillator.

The life-saving piece of equipment has been installed just outside the school grounds meaning not only will it available for the school children, but also everyone in the community as it is accessible 24/7.

We were privileged to be present at the opening ceremony, with our Vice-Chair Martin Eyre helping to cut the ribbon with Ward Councillor, James Lewis.

If you require a defib and call the ambulance service they will direct you to Kippax North and provide you with the necessary codes and instructions on how to use it.

The KPC and Ward Councillors are continuing to work with local community groups to hopefully increase the number of defibs in the village and we hope to share updates in the near future!
